I drink a lot of water. Probably about 100oz. a day.
Keeping a bottle of water at arm’s length has always been helpful for me. At the very least, it gives me something to fumble with if I need a quick distraction.
I think of my water bottle like Linus and his blanket from Peanuts. It provides comfort.
I made the conscious choice to make water my crutch. It’s always available, free or cheap, and provides a host of health benefits — many of which can help you stay balanced. Fight fatigue, destroy dizziness, eliminate confusion, regulate your body temperature and more. Plus, one common symptom of anxiety disorders is dry mouth and hydration definitely helps.
If you partake in cardio and find yourself sweating, drink water.
