I’m motivated. I was born that way.
I don’t say that to brag, I say it, to admit that sometimes, I think it works against me.
A calm and relaxed life is often accepting what is. Living in the present moment, which necessitates NOT thinking about wanting, working and planning for “more.”
From your salary to job title, to your house to your car, it’s OK to be happy with what you have.
Every waking moment does not need to be a struggle climbing for more in the future. This can be particularly difficult when you have children that you want to plan for. But sometimes enough is just enough and enough is okay.
There is no greater gift you can give to yourself or others than being in the present moment.
Don’t always be on the search to get satisfied. View it as an endless void that can never be filled. There are plenty of other humans to fall into that trap, don’t be one of them.
